5 years bridging environmental science and commercial reality. From Gore-Tex LCA to programmatic PCF tooling. M.Sc. Environmental Engineering, TU Munich.
Science that ships. Rigour that scales.
I am an environmental engineer who spent the first part of my career deep in the science, lifecycle assessment, carbon accounting, regulatory frameworks, material flows, and the second part figuring out how to make that science useful inside real organisations and products.
At W.L. Gore I built the division's first audit-ready carbon accounting system across 40,000+ product categories, with direct focus on Gore-Tex technical fabrics used in apparel and footwear. At SupplyOn I shipped a programmatic PCF validation tool using Brightway and Python into a live enterprise platform serving Bosch, Continental, Schaeffler, and ZF.
Through the UnternehmerTUM ecosystem at TU Munich I have worked across multiple early-stage startups, leading product and operations from zero to launch, running structured discovery with real users, and shipping features under real delivery pressure. That startup experience sits alongside the enterprise work, not separate from it.
UnternehmerTUM, Europe's leading entrepreneurship centreWhere science met delivery.
Built the division's first audit-ready carbon accounting system from scratch across 40,000+ product categories at a EUR 4B global manufacturer. Direct focus on Gore-Tex technical fabrics used in apparel and footwear. Applied PEF-aligned hotspot analysis to identify material, dyeing, and manufacturing hotspots, translating findings into a cross-department decarbonisation roadmap.
Self-initiated and shipped a Brightway and Python-based PCF plausibility check tool into a live B2B platform serving Bosch, Continental, Schaeffler, and ZF. Automated data quality validation against ecoinvent reference ranges using LLM-assisted emission factor matching. Designed for human-in-the-loop verification with full audit traceability.
Authored the company's full public blog covering GWP accounting, LCA methodology, EPD standards, and Digital Product Passports. Translated ISO 14040/44, EN 15804, CSRD, and ESPR into accessible customer-facing guidance. Built the content archive that became Emidat's primary educational resource.
The challenge is rarely a lack of sustainability data.
The challenge is turning that data into something a product team, engineer, or business leader can actually act on. That is where I work.
Available for consulting engagements, product collaboration, and thought leadership work.
Where I explore the questions behind the tools and decisions.
Strategic and operational approaches to measuring, managing, and reducing Scope 3 upstream emissions across complex supply chains. Directly relevant to PCF methodology and supplier data quality challenges in real enterprise contexts.
Qualitative analysis identifying methodological and disclosure gaps driving ESG rating divergence across agencies. Proposes frameworks for companies to improve rating consistency and stakeholder transparency.
Technical analysis of the transition from Environmental Product Declarations to Digital Product Passports under the EU Construction Products Regulation and ESPR, how manufacturers can turn compliance into competitive advantage.
Comparative analysis of ISO 14067, Catena-X PCF, PEF, GHG Protocol, PAS 2050, and CBAM standards applied to the same product. Built using Brightway, OpenLCA, Python, and LLM-assisted emission factor matching. Monte Carlo uncertainty analysis included.
Outside LCA and sustainability consulting, I build things. Ventures, products, and programmes, from clean energy in Ghana to AI tools for construction.
Co-founded a clean energy social enterprise from zero with local partners in Kumasi, Ghana. Managed fundraising, field operations, and the certification requirements behind a Fraunhofer-backed grant. Raised EUR 31,000 and delivered electricity access to 1,000+ households through solar-powered irrigation systems.
Designed and shipped an AI intelligence layer for industrial construction projects, full PRD with explicit scope decisions, evidence-linked risk alerts tracing back to source data, working React prototype built independently using Lovable, v0 by Vercel, and Claude API. Live at aisitemind.netlify.app
Designed a systems-level interactive game mapping circular economy actors, incentives, trade-offs, and feedback loops across design, sourcing, reverse logistics, and end-of-life stages. Used to train executives at major manufacturing companies through the School of Circularity and Circular Republic.
Coordinated Maharashtra's flagship state climate programme across 20+ government departments and international partners including the UN, World Bank, C40 Cities, Climate Group, and WRI. Contributed to a USD 2M policy plan. Spearheaded engagement with the Under2 Coalition, EV100, and Maharashtra EV Policy 2021.
Open to conversations at the intersection of sustainability science, technology, and product. Whether you need LCA depth, product collaboration, regulatory translation, or thought leadership content.
